Bhubaneswar: East Coast Railway has announced a modification to the operational handling of the Howrah-Puri-Howrah Express.
Following recent platform upgradation works at Puri Station, the services of Howrah-Puri-Howrah express previously short-terminated and short-originated at Malatipatpur will now be restored to Puri.
Train No. 12837 (Howrah-Puri Express) Will terminate at Puri Station instead of Malatipatpur from March 21, 2026.
Train No. 12838 (Puri-Howrah Express) Will originate from Puri Station instead of Malatipatpur from March 22, 2026.
Besides, Train No. 12838 Puri-Howrah Express is rescheduled to depart from Puri at 21:30 hrs instead of 20:15 hrs. from March 22 to May 15, 2026.
Passenger are advised to check detailed schedule and timings through official railway enquiry channels before planning their journey.
