Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar has issued an Orange Nowcast Warning (Be Aware) for moderate thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and rain with gusty winds of 30-40 kmph.
The warning is valid for the next three hours over Khordha district (including Bhubaneswar city) and Cuttack district (including Cuttack city) at one or two places.
People are advised to closely monitor the weather and remain prepared to move to safer locations to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
