Boudh: In a tragic incident, a minor boy died after being hit by a train while making a reel on the railway track.
The incident took place on the Khordha-Bolangir railway line. The deceased has been identified as a resident of Talupali village under Baunsuni police station.
According to information, the mishap occurred yesterday evening when the boy was making a reel near the railway track. The minor had earlier gone viral for making a reel while lying under a train. Police had earlier warned his family regarding the dangerous act. However, the defiant minor did not pay heed.
Following the incident, Baunsuni police recovered the body and started an investigation.
The incident has once again highlighted how dangerous it can be to put one’s life at risk for a few likes and views on social media.
