Bhubaneswar: With the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) just days away, several aspirants are struggling to download their admit cards due to technical glitches and password-related issues. The authorities, however, have assured quick assistance to affected candidates.
OJEE chairman D. P. Satapathy said that around 1.03 lakh students are expected to appear for the exam this year across 99 centres. The exam will be conducted from May 4 to May 10, 2026, in three shifts daily—9 am to 11 am, 1 pm to 3 pm, and 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
“Nearly 54,000 candidates have already downloaded their admit cards. We are also sending emails to students with instructions on how to access them. If anyone faces issues, they can contact us via email, and we will send the admit card directly,” Satapathy said.
Many students, however, have complained of difficulties in accessing their admit cards. Some reported invalid password errors, while others said the website was slow.
Biswajit Mohanty, a candidate from Balasore, said he has been unable to download his admit card despite repeated attempts. “The website is slow and shows an invalid password. I visited the OJEE office yesterday and came again today, but I still don’t have my admit card. My exam is on May 4,” he said.
With the examination fast approaching, candidates have urged the authorities to resolve the issues at the earliest to avoid last-minute inconvenience.
