Tremors Trigger Panic In Balangir As Mild Earthquake Hits Early Morning

Bhubaneswar: A mild earthquake was felt in Balangir district in the early hours of Saturday, triggering panic among local residents.

According to reports, the tremors occurred around 4:40 am and lasted only a few seconds. The ground shaking was noticeable across various parts of the district, causing many people to wake up startled and rush out of their homes in fear.

Fortunately, no casualties or significant damage to property have been reported so far.

Many took to social media to share their experiences, expressing relief that the tremors were mild.
