Bhubaneswar: In view of essential safety-related modernisation works at Puri Railway Station, the East Coast Railway has announced the temporary regulation of certain train services between June 16 and June 20, 2026.
The railway authorities stated that the temporary changes have been planned to ensure the smooth execution of critical infrastructure upgradation works. The initiative is aimed at enhancing operational safety, improving passenger amenities, and increasing overall efficiency at the station.
As per the revised arrangement, Train No. 68450 Daspalla–Puri MEMU, Train No. 18401 Bangriposi–Puri Express, and Train No. 18417 Puri–Gunupur Express will be short-terminated at Khurda Road during the said period.
Similarly, Train No. 68449 Puri–Daspalla MEMU, Train No. 18402 Puri–Bangriposi Express, and Train No. 18418 Gunupur–Puri Express will originate from Khurda Road instead of Puri between June 16 and June 20, 2026.
In addition, Train No. 68404 Puri–Khurda Road MEMU will remain cancelled from June 16 to June 20, while Train No. 68403 Khurda Road–Puri MEMU will remain cancelled from June 17 to June 20, 2026.
