Mayurbhanj: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Pahadpur in Mayurbhanj district on Saturday morning to inaugurate development projects and participate in a series of official programmes in Odisha.
The Prime Minister arrived at around 11:40 a.m. in an MI-17 helicopter and was received by President Droupadi Murmu, Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
During the visit, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for multiple development projects aimed at strengthening infrastructure, improving connectivity, and boosting socio-economic development in the region.
The initiatives span sectors such as energy, industrial infrastructure, road connectivity, drinking water, health, education, tourism, and irrigation.
The Prime Minister also visited Pahadpur village, which holds special significance as it is the ancestral village of President Droupadi Murmu. Both leaders were expected to participate in programmes highlighting tribal welfare, education, and skill development initiatives in the region.
