Jharsuguda: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will undertake a two-day visit to Odisha from July 4, during which he will inaugurate a ₹1,750-crore ethanol plant in Bargarh, lay foundation stones for multiple development projects in Sambalpur, and address public meetings, according to state Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari.
Pujari said Shah will arrive at Jharsuguda Airport on July 4 and travel by road to Bargarh, where he will inaugurate the ethanol plant built at a cost of ₹1,750 crore. The Union Home Minister is also expected to address a public gathering in the district.
After concluding his engagements in Bargarh, Shah will proceed to Sambalpur, where he is scheduled to stay overnight.
On July 5, the Home Minister will lay the foundation stones for various development projects in Sambalpur and attend a public meeting organised by his party. He is scheduled to return to New Delhi after completing the day’s programmes, Pujari added.
