Orange alerts are in place for Gajapati, Rayagada, Kalahandi, and Nabarangpur, where heavy to very heavy rain is forecast.

Additionally, a yellow warning for heavy rainfall has been issued for 12 districts which include Ganjam, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Kandhamal, Boudh, Subarnapur, Balangir, Nuapada, Balasore, and Mayurbhanj.
