Bhubaneswar: A youth reportedly died after falling from Dokari Hill at the popular tourist destination Gudahandi-Dokarichanchra located inside the Sahajkhol Reserved Forest under Kokasara Block in Kalahandi district.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be established.
As per reports, a motorcycle bearing the registration number CG-04-LS-8293 was found near the spot. It is not yet clear whether the youth had come alone or was accompanied by someone else. The exact circumstances leading to his fall from the hill are also not known.
Upon being informed, Ampani Police said they have received information about the incident. A police team has been dispatched to the spot for investigation. However, till the time of filing this report, the police team had not yet reached the location and the body could not be recovered.The actual cause of the death will be ascertained only after a proper police investigation.
