Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department has issued a nowcast warning for seven Odisha districts, predicting light rain with thunderstorms and gusty winds in the next three hours.
In nowcast warning issued by the IMD at 10:40 am, rain accompanied by light thunderstorm and wind speed of 30-40 kmph is very likely to occur over Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Balasore, Kandhamal, Ganjam, and Mayurbhanj districts.
The regional weather office has advised people in the affected districts to keep a watch on changing weather conditions and plan accordingly for their safety.
