Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for nine western Odisha districts predicting light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in the next three hours.
According to the nowcast warning issued at 4:20 pm today, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is very likely to occur at a few places over Sundaragada, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur,Baragada , Nuapada, Balangir, Sonpore, Debagada and Anugola during the next three hours.
The IMD has advised people in these districts to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and plan accordingly for their safety.
