Bhubaneswar: A youth reportedly went missing after allegedly jumping into the Birupa River.
According to information, the incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon when he suddenly arrived and jumped into the river. He has been missing since then and his whereabouts are still unknown.
Local residents who witnessed the incident immediately informed the police and fire services. On receiving information, police and fire brigade teams reached the spot and have launched a rescue operation.
Till the time of filing this report, the identity of the youth who jumped into the river has not been established. The reason behind his act also remains unclear. The incident has created a sensation in the entire area.
