Bhubaneswar: The IMD has issued Yellow Warning for thunderstorm activity in several districts of Odisha for the next five days.
On September 3, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty surface wind with speed reaching upto 30-40 kmph is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Baleshwar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghapur, Kataka, Kendujhar and Mayurbhanj.
From September 4 to September 7, the IMD has issued Yellow Warning. Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty surface wind with speed reaching upto 30-40 kmph is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Baleshwar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghapur, Kataka, Kendujhar and Mayurbhanj.
The weather office has advised people to remain aware and take precautionary measures during thunderstorm and lightning activity.
