New Delhi: Fourteen Odisha State Civil Service officers have been appointed to the Indian Administrative Service against vacancies for the 2025 select list, according to a notification issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday.
The officers have been appointed to the IAS on probation and allocated to the Odisha cadre under the relevant provisions of the IAS (Recruitment) Rules, 1954, and IAS (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1955.
The appointments have been made against vacancies determined by the Centre in consultation with the Odisha government for the 2025 select list, covering vacancies that arose between January 1 and December 31, 2025.
The 14 officers named in the notification are Surya Narayan Dash, Sumita Sarkar, Balamakunda Bhuyan, Soudamini Sethi, Madhumita Nayak, Jyotirmayee Pradhan, Madhumita Nayak, Babita Mohanty, Anuj Kumar Das Pattanaik, Jyotiranjan Mishra, Surendra Kumar Panda, Subhra Mohanty, Sanghamitra Satpathy and Himansu Sekhar Behera.
The notification was issued by the DoPT on September 3, 2026, under the signature of Under Secretary Chintan Puri.
The Odisha Chief Secretary has been requested to forward copies of the notification to the officers concerned. Copies have also been sent to the Accountant General, Odisha, the Union Public Service Commission and other concerned authorities.
