Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance on Saturday launched simultaneous searches at six locations linked to Shishir Kumar Dash, Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) posted at Mathili Block and attached to DRDA, Malkangiri, on allegations of possessing disproportionate assets beyond his known sources of income.
The searches are being conducted today on the strength of search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur, by a team led by one Additional SP, five DSPs, five Inspectors and other supporting staff.
According to Vigilance, searches are underway at a four-storeyed building at Baramunda in Bhubaneswar, a double-storeyed building at Neelachal Nagar in Berhampur, a house at Basudevpur (Gobara) in Ganjam district, his paternal house at Gajapati Nagar in Berhampur, his rented residential house at Malkangiri and his office chamber at DRDA, Malkangiri.
Searches are continuing. Further report is awaited.
