Acting on specific intelligence, police raided the house of the accused, identified as Sarat Palai, and seized suspected explosive materials, various types of fireworks and equipment used in their manufacture, collectively valued at approximately ₹1 lakh.

The seized materials included 21.6 kg of suspected explosive powder, 36.2 kg of chemical balls used for sky shots, and 5.2 kg of silver dust and other chemical substances.

Police also recovered 117 single sky shots, 292 kumki (ghadi), 196 sky shot balls, assorted paper fireworks and machinery and equipment used for manufacturing fireworks.
