Subarnapur: A 10-foot-long python was safely rescued from a college campus in Subarnapur district on Tuesday.
According to reports, staff members of Sriram College situated at Rampur under Dunguripali block spotted the large python under the staircase of the college building. Alarmed by the presence of the huge snake, the college employees immediately informed the forest department.
Upon receiving the alert, a team from the Binika Forest Department rushed to the college and safely rescued the python.
College employees had been terrified after discovering the reptile inside the premises. Following the successful rescue operation, a large number of local residents gathered to catch a glimpse of the python.
