Bhubaneswar: Two persons were killed and eight persons sustained injuries when a Bolero they were travelling in rammed into a divider near Dhanaghara under Chandiposh police limits on National Highway No-143 in Sundargarh district on Friday morning.
The accident occurred when the four-wheeler was going to Rourkela from Bhogarai. All the 10 injured were admitted to a nearby hospital. However, two of them died.
According to sources, careless driving is the reason behind the road mishap.
Police, meanwhile, seized the four-wheeler, detained its driver for interrogation and initiated a probe into the incident.
