Keonjhar: Wandering in search of food, about 20 wild boars fell in an abandoned well at Bhagamunda village in Kisan Sahi of Junga panchayat under Harichandanpur block of Keonjhar district.
According to reports, the wild boars had gone to Bhagamunda village on Sunday night to feed on crops in the agricultural fields there. However, they fell into an abandoned well in the middle of the field as it was pitch dark.
Local villagers spotted this on Monday morning and informed the Forest department. On reaching the spot, the Forest department personnel started work on war footing to rescue the wild boars.
