Bhubaneswar: Odisha registered a 59.60 % voter turnout till 5.00 pm in the polling for six Lok Sabha constituencies and 42 Assembly segments on Saturday, according to the Voter Turnout application.
Based on the app’s data, among the parliamentary constituencies, Sambalpur showed the highest turnout at a remarkable 65.91% while Bhubaneswar recorded the lowest 53.54 % voter turnout till 5.00 pm.
The Parliamentary Constituency-wise approximate voter turnout is as follows: Bhubaneswar 53.54%, Cuttack 54.36%, Dhenkanal 60.88%, Keonjhar 62.43%, Puri 61.17% and Sambalpur 65.91%.
Among the Assembly constituencies, Pallahara recorded the highest 73.86 % voting till 5.00 pm whereas Cuttack-Barabati recorded the lowest 42.10 % voting till 5.00 pm.
Voting started at 7 am in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Puri, Sambalpur, Dhenkanal and Keonjhar Parliamentary constituencies along with 42 assembly segments within the jurisdiction of these Lok Sabha seats.
