Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police will impose several traffic restrictions in Bhubaneswar on Thursday and Friday in view of the 75th Capital Foundation Day on the Sachivalaya Marg here. The restrictions will be in place from 6.00 am Thursday till the parade ends.
According to the Commissionerate Police, the traffic restrictions that will be imposed are as below:
- All vehicles coming from Housing Board Square will be diverted from Keshari Talkies Square and take a left turn.
- All vehicles coming from AG Square to PMG will be diverted and they will take a right from Jaydev Bhawan and move towards Indira Gandhi Park road.
- All vehicles coming from Master Canteen will be diverted towards adjoining lanes on Lower PMG.
- All vehicles coming from 120 Infantry Battalion Square and proceeding towards Rabindra Mandap will be diverted towards Power House S
- All vehicles coming from Raj Bhawan Square towards MLA colony and Rabindra Mandap will be diverted towards Shastri Nagar Square.
- These restrictions will not apply to vehicles authorised to enter the official buildings, including the Assembly Building, the Secretariat and other government offices located in this area.
