All Living Eligible Beneficiaries Will Get Second Installment Of Subhadra Yojana: Dy CM Parida

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has announced that all eligible beneficiaries under the Subhadra Yojana who were excluded from receiving the second installment will now get the funds. Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida confirmed the move on Thursday while addressing concerns about beneficiaries mistakenly marked as deceased on the Subhadra portal.

Speaking to the media during the ‘Interaction with Differently-Abled Sisters’ programme at Mission Shakti Bhawan, Parida explained that errors in e-KYC data entry had resulted in some living beneficiaries being classified as deceased, preventing them from receiving the second installment.

She said the issue is being rectified and assured that there is no cause for concern. “After August 15, Anganwadi workers will conduct surveys in villages. The findings will be uploaded to the grievance section of the portal, and after verification, the pending funds will be credited. All living beneficiaries who received the first installment will also get the second installment,” Parida said.

The interaction programme at Mission Shakti Bhawan was attended by 25 differently-abled women, including noted social worker Shruti Mahapatra.
