Bhubaneswar: At least nine heavy equipment and tipper trucks were set on fire by armed Maoists who stormed into a factory site located at Muniguda in Rayagada district on Friday night.
The incident occurred at Deokupuli Chowk in Muniguda last night when a group of 10 armed Maoists launched the arson. Two excavators, five tipper trucks, and two tractors were set on fire during the incident.
Rayagada police have recovered Maoist posters from the spot and launched an investigation into the incident.
