Cuttack: At least 10 persons were injured in a group clash in Manpur village under Kanpur police limits of Narsinghpur block in Odisha’s Cuttack district on Thursday evening. The group clash is said to be a fall-out of an old enmity between two families.
According to reports, four persons from both sides sustained various degrees of injuries during the group clash and five of them have been admitted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. As tension prevails in the area, a large police force has been deployed in the village.
Kanpur police station Officer-In-Charge Girijanandhan Patnaik said that though no complaint has been filed with the police in this connection, they have started an investigation into the incident.
