Balasore: At least 35 persons fell sick after consuming prasad during Ganesh Puja at Sarsatia village of Bahanaga block here on Tuesday.
The group of people had the offerings at Ganesh Puja celebrations at Ward No 15 Jenasahi. A little while later, people started complaining of uneasiness.
They had vommiting, loose motion and abdominal pain following which 30 persons were rushed to Community Health Centre (CHC) at Khantapada for treatment.
A team of doctors reached Sarasatia and inspected the situation and held discussions with the patients. According to reports, the condition of the affected people is stable and they were recovering well.
