Bhubaneswar: The second edition of Patha Utsav 2026 enlivened Jagamara New Road in Bhubaneswar on Sunday, attracting a large number of residents who participated in a variety of cultural and recreational activities.
The festival featured Odissi and contemporary dance performances, while young participants danced to DJ music on a separate stage. The entire stretch of the road was adorned with colorful rangoli designs, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Mayor Sulochana Das expressed gratitude to the city’s residents for their participation.
“The first Patha Utsav was successful because of the residents, and today’s edition has seen equally enthusiastic participation. I also thank the BMC team for organising the event,” she said.
In addition to dance and music, attendees engaged in yoga sessions, skating, games, street plays, and traditional performances.
The event combined cultural celebrations with fitness and recreation.
