Bhubaneswar: The bail plea of Archana Nag, who has been arrested on charges of extortion and blackmailing, was again rejected by the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court in Bhubaneswar.
The court had earlier rejected the bail plea of Nag on October 11. She had again filed a bail petition on October 14.
Nag was arrested on October 6 on charges of extorting money from several influential persons after honey-trapping them. She had moved the SDJM Court for bail on October 1o.
The Commissionerate Police had arrested Nag following a complaint by a woman at the Khandagiri police station here.
The complainant had alleged that she was trapped by Nag who managed to snap obscene pictures of her with influential persons and later blackmailed them.
