According to the Commissionerate Police, members of this notorious gang used to steal bikes from various sensitive places in Bhubaneswar, such as hospitals, markets, schools, courts, sub-registrar offices and others.

The main accused and leader of the gang, Krishna Kandi, also engaged in car thefts. Numerous complaints are lodged against him at various police stations in the Odisha capital.
