Bullets Fired Over Minor Dispute In Balangir Village; Two Injured

Balangir: Tension gripped Luhakhan village under Deogaon Police Station limits in Balangir district on Wednesday after two persons allegedly opened fire following a minor dispute, leaving two individuals injured.

According to reports, the firing incident occurred during an altercation in the village. The accused have been identified as Subham Meher and Nakul Bhue, who allegedly fired the shots during the confrontation.

The injured persons were immediately rushed to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital here for treatment. Their condition is yet to be officially disclosed.

Police personnel from Deogaon reached Luhakhana village soon after receiving information about the incident and have launched an investigation. Further details are awaited as the probe continues.

Police is maintaining vigil in the area to prevent any escalation of tension.
