Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police has announced a cash reward of Rs 25,000 for anyone providing credible information leading to the recovery of a 17-year-old minor girl who has been missing for nearly two months.
A case has been registered at the Bharatpur police station regarding the disappearance of Ipsita Sarangi. Police suspect kidnapping and are actively investigating the matter.According to police sources, Ipsita went missing on March 14. She was residing in Jagannath Vihar, Bharatpur.
She is described as being approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall.Investigators are examining CCTV footage from the area and gathering human intelligence to trace her whereabouts. Teams have been formed to follow up on leads.
The Commissionerate Police has appealed to the public for help. Anyone with information about Ipsita Sarangi is requested to immediately contact the nearest police station or the Bharatpur police station on the designated helpline numbers.
As the investigation continues, police have urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity related to the case.
