Cattle Grazer Killed By Crocodile In Kendrapara

Bhubaneswar: A 50-year-old man was dragged and killed by a crocodile in the Papuli River at Ratpong village, under Mahakalapada block in Kendrapara district.

According to reports, Shankar Samant was attacked by the crocodile while grazing cattle near the river. Today, between 2 and 3 PM, Shankar went to graze cows with some villagers. At that time, a crocodile dragged him from the riverbank.

After witnessing the incident, the villagers accompanying Shankar rushed back to the village and reported the matter to other villagers. Local people launched a search operation, and after hours of searching, they recovered Shankar’s mutilated body.
