Bhadrak: The headmaster of Binapani Nodal School under Chandabali block in Bhadrak district has been placed under suspension following allegations that he reported to school in an inebriated state and misbehaved with teachers.
The suspended headmaster has been identified as Srinath Das.
According to official sources, complaints alleged that Das arrived at the school under the influence of alcohol, used abusive and obscene language, and behaved inappropriately with members of the teaching staff.
Following a preliminary inquiry into the allegations, the Chandabali Block Education Officer (BEO) ordered Das’s suspension with immediate effect pending further proceedings.
The incident has triggered widespread discussion in the locality, with many residents welcoming the disciplinary action and stressing the need to uphold discipline, accountability and professional conduct in educational institutions.
