Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the 77th Independence Day celebrations, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday urged citizens to participate in the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign by hoisting the national flag at their homes, taking a selfie, and uploading it to the official website.
Through a video message, CM Majhi said, “Our national flag is a symbol of unity, solidarity, and brotherhood. On August 15th, we will celebrate 77 years of independence. I request all citizens to join this campaign, hoist the national flag, and upload their selfies on harghartiranga.com website.”
The “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aims to make the significance of the national flag accessible to every citizen and revive feelings of patriotism. CM Majhi’s appeal comes a day before the campaign’s launch, encouraging all Odisha residents to participate and show their love for the nation.
