Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday congratulated students who cleared the Class 12 board examinations conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), while urging them to remain confident regardless of results.
Taking to social media platform X, the Chief Minister said students should face every challenge in life with strong self-confidence and continue moving forward. He added that the youth will play a key role in building a “Samruddha Odisha” and extended his best wishes for a successful and progressive future for all students.
Meanwhile, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class 12 board examination results for the academic session 2025–26 on Wednesday (May 13, 2026), recording an overall pass percentage of 85.20.
The results reflect a decline of 3.19 percentage points compared to last year’s pass rate of 88.39 per cent.
A total of 17,80,365 students registered for the examination, of whom 17,68,968 appeared. Out of these, 15,07,109 students cleared the exam.
