Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Indian Men’s Hockey Team for their emphatic 4-1 victory over South Korea in the final of the Hero Asia Cup 2025, held in Rajgir, Bihar.
In a post on social media platform X, CM Majhi wrote, “Heartiest congratulations to the Indian Hockey Team on their remarkable triumph at the Hero Asia Cup 2025 in Rajgir, Bihar. With a commanding 4-1 victory over Korea, the team has brought immense pride and glory to the nation. With this win, India secured its fourth Men’s Asia Cup title and ended an eight-year continental title drought. The triumph also earned the team a berth at the 2026 FIH World Cup, to be co-hosted by Belgium and the Netherlands.
