CM Majhi Highlights Radio’s Role As ‘Voice Of People’ On World Radio Day

Bhubaneswar: On the occasion of World Radio Day, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi emphasized radios’ significance as a vital medium of communication and ‘voice of the people’.

In a post, CM Majhi highlighted radio’s role in connecting communities, spreading awareness, and strengthening democracy. Besides, Majhi noted that radio continues to inform, educate, and inspire millions across generations, from villages to cities, and nurtures social harmony.

“Radio is not merely a medium of communication; it is the voice of the people, a vital bridge that connects communities, and a trusted companion in moments of need. From our villages to our cities, it continues to inform, educate, and inspire millions across generations. On this occasion, we celebrate the enduring power of radio in strengthening democracy, spreading awareness, nurturing social harmony, and amplifying the voice of every citizen”, read CM’s post on his X handle.
