Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi left on a three-day visit to Mumbai, starting yesterday, to promote investment in the state and explore opportunities for industrial growth.
During his visit, CM Majhi will participate in the India Steel 2025 conference, where he will deliver a keynote address on enhancing steel production and raw material sourcing. The conference is expected to bring together industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders to discuss the latest trends and challenges in the steel sector.
In addition to the conference, CM Majhi will hold one-on-one discussions with investors and industrialists to promote Odisha as a prime destination for investment. He will highlight the state’s industrial policy, infrastructure, and growth potential, and explore ways to facilitate investment.
The Chief Minister will also hold a roundtable discussion with investors, where he will address queries and concerns related to investing in Odisha. The discussion is expected to focus on the state’s strengths, opportunities, and challenges, as well as ways to overcome them.
The CM is scheduled to return to Bhubaneswar on April 26, after concluding his meetings and engagements in Mumbai.
CM Majhi’s visit to Mumbai is part of the state government’s efforts to attract investment and promote economic growth. The Chief Minister had recently visited Delhi, where he signed agreements with several companies to promote investment in Odisha.
