Bhubaneswar: Vigilance sleuths today apprehended Nalini Ranjan Bhuian, Principal of Dadhibaman Jew +3 Mahavidyalaya at Bahadajhola in Nayagarh for accepting a bribe of Rs.1,00,000 from a staffer.

The bribe was taken in exchange for releasing the staffer’s outstanding salary arrears of over Rs.5 lakhs.

Acting on a complaint, Vigilance laid a trap on Tuesday, and caught the principal red-handed while accepting the bribe at his residence in Manikapatna.
