Bhubaneswar: Minister of Cooperation Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, who is on a visit to Belgium, today attended a conference organized by migrant Odias overseas. Nayak attended the grand event organized by the immigrants in the City Center of Brussels, and thanked them for their passion for the motherland.
On this occasion, Nayak said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, the overall development of Odisha has made the State famous across the globe. Immigrants have a great contribution in this field, he said.
The Minister spoke about the special measures taken by the Odisha government for the Odia migrants, the success of Odisha Mo Paribar and Mission Shakti etc. He called upon the migrant Odias living abroad to involve themselves in this development process of Odisha.
On this occasion, the Minister was felicitated on behalf of the migrant Indians in Belgium.
Odisha State Cooperative Bank President T Prasad Rao Dora and Managing Director Uddhav Chandra Majhi who were on a visit to Belgium along with Minister were also present in the programme.
Sanjay Parida of Belgium, Ranjit Paikaray, Ram Kumar Rana Jadhav, Anshuman Tripathi and Deepak Parida from the Netherlands conducted the conference organized on behalf of the diaspora with great success.
