Bhubaneswar: ‘Diabetes India’ Convenor Prof Dr Jayant Panda of SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack met President of India Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Prof Dr Panda was accompanied by the ‘Diabetes India’ national team including president Dr SR Arvind from Bengaluru, Secretary Dr Banshi Saboo from Ahmedabad, chief advisor Padma Shri Prof Sasank Joshi from Mumbai, coordinator Dr Brij Makkar and Jt Secretary Dr Amit Gupta from New Delhi.
Diabetes India was started 25 years ago by Dr Shaukat Sadikot, working globally for better diagnosis and treatment of people with diabetes and control of numbers of new patients and complications of heart kidney brain and other systems in diabetes patients.
