Bhubaneswar: A doctor was killed in a road mishap when a car he was travelling in collided with a parked truck near Baladiamal under Junagarh police station in Kalahandi district.
The deceased has been identified as Dr Harishchandra Pradhan.
According to reports, the car lost balance and crashed into the truck, severely injuring Dr. Pradhan. Locals rushed him to Junagarh hospital, where he was declared dead. Pradhan was heading to his clinic in Dharamgarh from Bhawanipatna Patna to attend to patient.
Upon being informed, police have reached the scene and launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident. The incident has created a sombre atmosphere in the area.
