Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government today issued promotions and new appointments for senior doctors in the Health and Family Welfare Department, aiming to strengthen public health administration across the state.
Dr. Pradip Kumar Hota, currently serving as Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) of Sambalpur, has been promoted and appointed as the new Director of Public Health. He will replace Dr. Nilakantha Mishra in this key role.
In a similar move, Dr. Mahesh Mohan Panda, who is presently the CDMO of Jharsuguda, has been elevated to the position of Director of Health Services.
Additionally, Dr. Nilakshi Sircar has been promoted and posted as Director-cum-Ex-Officio Special Secretary of the Health Department.
Manoranjan Rout, currently working as CDMO of Kendrapara district, has also been promoted to the post of Director-cum-Ex-Officio Special Secretary (Technical) in the Health Department.
The Health and Family Welfare Department issued an official notification regarding these appointments and promotions.
