Bhubaneswar: East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced the cancellation of two MEMU train services on the Dhanmandal–Kapilas Road section during June and July 2026 to facilitate essential rebuilding of stone slab bridges under the Khurda Road Division.
The infrastructure works, aimed at enhancing safety and improving reliability of rail operations, will necessitate the suspension of Train No. 68424/68423 and Train No. 68438/68437, both running between Cuttack and Bhadrak.
According to an official release, the Cuttack–Bhadrak–Cuttack MEMU (68424/68423) will remain cancelled on five dates: June 5, 12, 19, 26, 2026, and July 3, 2026.
Similarly, Train No. 68438/68437 (Cuttack–Bhadrak–Cuttack MEMU) will also be cancelled on the same dates — June 5, 12, 19, 26, and July 3, 2026.
