Bhubaneswar: East Coast Railway (ECoR) has revised the timings of several trains to facilitate smooth train operations and provide greater convenience to passengers, with the changes coming into effect from their respective journey commencement dates.
The 15027 Sambalpur-Gorakhpur Maurya Express will depart from Sambalpur at 9.05 am instead of 9.20 am and reach Rengali at 9.28 am instead of 9.39 am. Its departure from Rengali will be at 9.30 am instead of 9.41 am. The revised timings will be effective from October 28, 2026.
The 15028 Gorakhpur-Sambalpur Maurya Express will arrive at Sambalpur at 2.50 pm instead of 2.40 pm from September 4, 2026. On the same date, the 12893 Bhubaneswar-Purunakatak Intercity Express will arrive at Purunakatak at 5.10 pm instead of 5 pm.
For the 12894 Purunakatak-Bhubaneswar Intercity Express, the departure from Purunakatak will be at 11.15 am instead of 11.25 am from October 28. The train will arrive at and depart from Biranarsinghpur at 11.30 am and 11.32 am, Boudh at 11.45 am and 11.50 am, Jharamunda at 12.02 pm and 12.04 pm, Puranapani at 12.20 pm and 12.22 pm, Sonepur at 12.35 pm and 12.40 pm, Narasinghgarh at 12.55 pm and 12.57 pm, Jhartarbha at 1.10 pm and 1.12 pm, and Bichhupali at 1.25 pm and 1.27 pm, respectively.
The 18314 Bhubaneswar New-Boudh Weekly Express will reach Boudh at 10.45 am instead of 10.30 am from September 7, while the 18421 Puri-Sonepur Weekly Express will arrive at Sonepur at 6 am instead of 5.50 am from September 3.
Meanwhile, the 18422 Sonepur-Puri Weekly Express will depart from Sonepur at 6.45 pm instead of 7 pm from October 30. Its revised timings at Narasinghgarh, Jhartarbha and Bichhupali will be 6.55/6.57 pm, 7.06/7.08 pm and 7.20/7.22 pm, respectively.
ECoR advised passengers to check updated train schedules on the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) or through official railway enquiry services before commencing their journey.
