Bhubaneswar: The Railways on Thursday cancelled more trains in view of Cyclone Dana which will make landfall between Bhitarkanika National Forest and Dhamra Port in Odisha by Friday early morning.
East Coast Railway (ECoR) and South Eastern Railway (SER) said today that they have cancelled 28 more trains on Thursday. While 17 trains were cancelled on Thursday, 10 more trains have been cancelled for Friday and one train has been suspended on Saturday.
With this, 203 trains passing through Odisha have been cancelled due to Cyclone Dana so far. Earlier, the ECoR had announced cancellation of 197 trains. The ECoR authorities have also issued separate helpline numbers for different stations under its jurisdiction.
