Bhubaneswar: An elderly man was seriously injured after being attacked by a swarm of bees while working in his field at Mundamahul village under Patnagarh police limits in Bolangir district on Wednesday.
According to reports, Sridhar Dharua of Mundamahul village while ploughing his field was stung by a swarm of bees.
Dharua was rescued by fellow villagers in a critical condition.
Later his family members rushed him to Patnagarh Sub Divisional Hospital by ambulance.
Dharua has been admitted to the hospital and is undergoing treatment.
