Fake Mineral Water Unit Exposed As Illicit Liquor Factory; Four Held

Bhubaneswar: Excise Department sleuths busted an illicit country liquor factory at the Daruthenga jungle area on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, with the arrest of four persons, on Friday.

Excise department officials seized approximately 10,000 litres of illicit liquor worth Rs 19 lakh from their possession during the raid.

As per reports, the factory was operating under the guise of a mineral water bottling unit, where the illicit liquor was being packaged and prepared for selling. During the raid, the sleuths seized three four-wheelers, two motorcycles, and a machine used in the manufacturing process.
