Rourkela: The FIH Men’s Hockey Pro League 2025–26 Rourkela leg will get underway at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium on Tuesday, February 10, featuring three of the world’s top men’s teams—India, Belgium and Argentina—for six days of high-voltage international competition.
Hosts India, led by captain Harmanpreet Singh, face a stiff early test against Belgium, captained by Arthur Van Doren, and Argentina under the leadership of Matias Rey. The opening match of the Rourkela leg will see Belgium take on Argentina on February 10, followed by India’s first appearance against Belgium on February 11. India will then face Argentina on February 12.
The league action continues with Argentina playing Belgium on February 13, before India meets Belgium again on February 14. The Rourkela leg will conclude with India taking on Argentina on February 15. All matches are scheduled to begin at 7.30 pm IST.
The Rourkela fixtures mark a crucial start to India’s Pro League campaign, with the team aiming to build early momentum against two of the most accomplished sides in world hockey. The Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium, the world’s largest hockey-specific venue, is expected to draw packed crowds, reflecting Odisha’s growing stature as a global hub for the sport.
