Koraput: A fire broke out at the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) office in Jeypore’s Christian Peta, on Tuesday, destroying important documents and equipment.
According to reports, the fire started at around 7:30 AM in the BSNL office storeroom. It destroyed important documents and equipment.
Upon receiving a tip-off, the fire department quickly arrived at the scene and managed to control the flames. The fire department suspects that the fire may have been caused by mischief.
Assistant Fire Officer Suresh Kumar Barik, Chief Fire Officer Chitta Ranjan Panjia, along with other firefighters including Gupteshwar, Pawan Kumar Sabar and Suresh Kumar, were present and helped bring the fire under control.
